Notice from the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas
All Members of the Bar:
Discovery motions court will not be held on Friday, February 28, 2020.
No alternative discovery motions court session will be held during the week of February 24-28.


The passport service counter at the Upper Bucks Government Services Center has reopened! New hours will be 8:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Wednesdays, closed for lunch from 1 to 1:30 p.m. 

Passport services at the Lower Bucks Government Services Center remain suspended until further notice. 
New hours should be posted in the near future. We apologize for the temporary inconvenience. Passport applications continue to be accepted at the Justice Center in Doylestown.

Bucks County Behavioral Health, Mental Health and Developmental Programs and the Bucks County Drug and Alcohol Commission have all moved to the 4th Floor of the Bucks County Administration Building. Please join them in their new locations in Doylestown.

Nomination Petitions: General Primary - 2020 - For Republican County Committee

Republican Committeeman and Committeewoman are the only offices to file nomination petitions with the Bucks County for the April 28, 2020 Primary.
ALL OTHER Offices file with the DEPARTMENT OF STATE in Harrisburg.

PLEASE NOTE: Special Elections held BEFORE 4/28/2020 are NOT affected by Act 77. This means that for the March 17th Special Election, in the 18th Legislative District (Bensalem Twp.): 

  • The voter registration deadline for the Special Election is February 18, 2020.
  • Mail-In Ballots are NOT available for elections prior to April 28, 2020.
  • Voters can apply for an absentee ballot by completing the paper application form and submitting it to the Board of Elections by 5:00 pm March 10, 2020.
  • Voted Absentee Ballots for the special election are due by 5:00 pm March 13, 2020.
