Parks and Recreation

  • All Bucks County Park Trails and Boat Ramps are open. 
    • Park Offices now open by appointment only.
    • Playgrounds and the Dog Park are now open, visitors encouraged to bring their own hand sanitizer.
    • Campsites at Tohickon, Tinicum and Lake Towhee Parks remain closed.
    • Restrooms remained closed.
    • Visitors should maintain a six-foot distance.
    • Masks are highly recommended.
  • The Moravian Pottery and Tile Works is open by appointment only. Please view their webpage for more information.
  • Applications are now being accepted on-line for the purchase of Boat Launch Permits on the Parks ActiveNet Activity Portal.

The Oxford Valley Pool is a 50 meter pool with a maximum depth of 4 ft. 3 inches, there is also a small wading (kiddie) pool with a depth of 1 foot 6 inches and a water slide. Memberships are available for purchase as well as daily passes for those without memberships. There are a variety of events throughout the summer including Senior Swim, a 4th of July celebration, and Flick ‘N’ Float. OVP offers three 2-week sessions of Swim Lessons and also has a Swim Team.  Photo ID required for Resident rates.

Summer Swim Team season begins shortly after Memorial Day and continues until the end of July. Practices are held Monday through Friday in the afternoons when the pool opens, until school gets out. When school is over, practices are Monday through Friday mornings. Swimmers will be placed in practice groups by age and ability. Meets are held Tuesday and Thursday evenings at local pools. Children ages 3 and up (must be toilet trained) will learn to swim in a fun and safe environment. Each session is 2 weeks long.

When: Saturday, August 10th. Film starts around 8:30 pm
Fees: Free to members, regular pool fees apply for non-members.
